Helping the Lost and Stray Cats of
Norwich, Norfolk, UK
Who We Are and What We Do.
Lost and Found Cats Norwich was originally formed as a Facebook group run by volunteers with the aim of helping people to find their missing cats in the Norwich area.
Since we began our team have become involved in many extra voluntary activities such as:
Collecting the bodies of deceased cats,
Scanning cats for microchips,
Rescuing and rehoming cats when no owner can be traced.
We are also able to microchip your cats for you, in your own home, from just £7.50.In the last three years we have actively helped to reunite many lost cats with their owners as well as rescuing and rehoming almost eighty cats.
We have a team of thirteen foster carers we can call on and they are currently looking after eighteen cats and kittens for us, three of which have ongoing health problems.
We also have a list of at least twenty cats we are either attempting to catch or who are waiting for a suitable foster place.
We regularly help cats who are elderly, sick, disabled, unneutered, unvaccinated and who need expensive vet treatment.
